How Can I Bring More "Good Luck" Into My Life?
You could do this by the simple act of giving and receiving. Here is a quick story to help illustrate this principle.
On Memorial Day weekend in 2015 I decided to visited Block Island for a day trip. Before boarding the ferry in Montauk, NY, I stopped in town to check out an arts and crafts fair. After briefly walking around, I found myself drawn to a photography booth.
David, the photographer, greeted me and we began chit chatting. He told me all about the process and locations of each photo. After about 15 minutes I decided to make a purchase.
Originally I was going to buy a gift for myself (eyeing a beautiful white wolf photograph) and last minute I decided to pick out a photo of a rustic car to gift my father. I handed David a $20.00 bill.
He looked at the bill and said, "oo wow, look what has been written on your twenty dollar bill!,... 1000! That is good luck!"
I looked at the $20.00, looked back at David and without hesitation responded, " That is good to know and may you be blessed with a $1,000.00 worth in sales by selling one photograph or many individual sales." David smiled and said "thank you. I'll tell you what, if I sell a $1,000 dollars worth of artwork today, I'll give you a photograph of your choosing for free."
I said, "wow that would be amazing!" Yet, in my heart and mind had absolutely no expectation of either outcome. I just allowed the when, where, how, etc to unfold as it would and so did David. I said thank you, goodbye and proceeded to my destination.
David sent me a text message not too long after we me. I was ecstatic and so happy for him! He sold $1050.00 worth of artwork in a matter of 5 minutes.
I want to clarify, I never predicted anything (that was what David thought I said). He and I till this day are digesting what happened. But for now what I could say is the power of our mind, when in alignment with our heart Chakra and positive actions (integrity; following through, etc), and spoken words open up unlimited possibilities that could lead to amazing life experiences and welcome in more "good luck."
It's important to remember when it comes to feng shui, it's not all about the placement of an object (like a lucky frog or plant), the particular use of an accent color or textures. It also has to due with self awareness, character building, your mindset, actions and habits that contribute to your life experiences.
