The answer to this question is subjective because some Feng Shui consultants may say locate the direction your front door faces, while others will say keep it simple. Either way, whatever Feng Shui method you choose, make sure you are personally comfortable with and become observant and aware of the shifts in energy after making the changes. 

Typically, the accent color on or around your outside front door is suggested to be red. Why red? Red in Feng Shui is the color of honor and protection. So you are highlighting your front entrance while protecting the energy at the same time. For those who wish, you could paint the front door red or implement accent colors around the outside front door. 

Or if you prefer, you could locate the front door's actual direction using a compass. Once you know the direction, it's optional to paint the entire front door the associated color to that direction or implement accent colors near the outside front door.
