When you hear the words, “Feng Shui”, what comes to mind? You may immediately associate Feng Shui with building orientation and structural design, which is all true for living Feng Shui applications. However, I invite you to adopt another perspective on the practice of Feng Shui to see it as a lifestyle. How so? If you delve into the origins of Feng Shui, you’ll learn the practice stems from Taoist teachings, which encourage humanity to be within the ebb and flow of life. This means, allowing change to be our greatest teacher and inspiration for spiritual growth.

What is spiritual growth? How I understand it, you are maturing to such a level that you become actively conscious of how you choose to interact with the entire world and all the life thriving on it. Compassionate, empathetic, loving, and forgiving are some notable characteristics cultivated when embracing your personal journey of spiritual growth.

To help illustrate this a bit more, over the years our consulting firm, Feng Shui Manhattan, has gone through many transformations. The business began by providing Feng Shui Consultations, serving as the core foundation of services provided. I remember my mother, Carole Provenzale, telling me before she passed away in 2010, “Laura, don’t just stop at Feng Shui, be open to other forms of healing”. She even gave me a hint (working with my hands) as to what I would train in next, which I later discovered was Reiki Healing.

I’ve kept her message with me ever since and found it has helped me embrace my journey of spiritual growth, which has also supported personal and professional transformations over the years. After learning Reiki, I explored additional healing practices that included Inner Child Work, Emotional Intelligence, Sound Healing, Kabbalah work, and Mystery School training. I also gravitated to studying Geopathic Stress Dowsing which seamlessly complimented the Feng Shui sessions and not too long after, began facilitating Drum Circles for public and private gatherings.

Embracing my journey of spiritual growth has not only enriched my personal life experiences but has also blossomed into a diverse healing hub of services through Feng Shui Manhattan Inc. to accommodate the various needs of our clientele, as appropriate.
