How Can a Convex Mirror Protect My Home and Self from the Negative Energy of My Neighbor?

Laura Cerrano

I have very destructive and noisy neighbor and want to use the convex (not concave) mirror outside my home to protect myself and my home. What would be the effects on me if I use this remedy ??? And is it the best way to deflect harm away from me and my home ???? Thank you.

Answer:

This type of situation comes up from time to time during Feng Shui consultations. When using a Convex mirror, the intention of use is to deflect back your neighbors negative energy that is being directed toward your home and self.

In energy terms, this is a form of "non-battling." You are simply deflecting the energy they are projecting at you and your home to move around, up-over and away. The placement of the mirror depends on the location of your home to the neighbors home. It's suggested to place the mirror along the outside of your home (if possible).

If need be, you could place the convex mirror along a window sill from the inside of your home. If you do this, make sure the reflective surface of the mirror is facing toward your neighbors home. Some consultants may disagree with this approach, yet if a person lives in an apartment building or for other practical reasons, this could be the next best method.

Very important, please read:

When you place the convex mirror for its intended use, you need to make sure you do not have any "ill-will" toward your neighbor. I know this may sound strange, yet again, I repeat, do not implement this cure while in a fowl mood. Be neutral and the effects on you when implementing this remedy is none. What you give out, is what you get back. The intention and envisioning of the convex mirror's use is to deflect. Think of it as Tai Chi for your home.

Can Making My Bed Every Morning Improve My Happiness?

Laura Cerrano

I was reading a Feng Shui article online that offered tips on how to create a happier bedroom. One of the tips included making your bed every morning. I was curious to know if this is a common suggestion in with Feng Shui consultants and why?
— Question from online reader, Thanks in advance!

Answer:

For the method of Feng Shui I teach, yes, this is a foundational suggestion for clients who do not practice this habit already. Let me offer a bit more psychological and spiritual explanation to help you understand the benefits.

This habit of making your bed may seem small and insignificant, yet a greater development within your conscious and unconscious minds is developing. This simple act becomes your first accomplishment of the day and it only requires 1-2 minutes of your time. This also creates a mindset of being organized, which helps to reduce stress, increase motivation and inspiration.

When it's time to retreat back into your bedroom for sleep, there is no need to fuss with preparing your bed, It's already been made. This creates the mindset for a zen-full night's rest.

Looking at this Feng Shui suggestion from a spiritual perspective, making your bed sends a strong message of self respect. You choose to take the time and create a space that nurtures and positively recharges your energy, body and emotions. This is a great habit to maintain when sharing the bedroom with your partner or if you are in the process of manifesting a relationship. This suggestion is wonderful for both young children, teens, adults and seniors.

Keep this in mind, how you treat your home becomes an extension of how you treat yourself and how you allow yourself to be treated by others.
