Consultation Policy

Additional Travel Fee Policy

New York State: All of Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan travel fees and expenses are already included into your overall Feng Shui Consultation fee.

  • Bronx, Westchester, Staten Island, New Jersey, Connecticut and beyond require an additional travel fee that starts at $55.00.

California State: Travel fee and expenses are already included into the overall Feng Shui consultation fee for clients who live within Los Angeles County.

  • Feng Shui In-Person Consultations located beyond Los Angeles County require an additional travel fee starting at $55.00. Sample list of locations include: Anaheim, Ventura, San Diego, Chula Vista, Palm Springs, San Francisco and beyond.  

On-site National and International consultations are available by request and will require additional travel fees.


Space Clearing Travel Fee Policy

Space Clearings in New York State: New York State: All of Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan travel fees and expenses are already included into your overall Space Clearing fee.

  • Space Clearings Sessions located in the Bronx, Westchester, Staten Island, New Jersey, Connecticut and beyond require additional travel fees starting at $55.00.

California State: Travel fee and expenses are already included into the overall Feng Shui onsite space clearing fee for clients who live within Los Angeles County.

  • In-Person Space Clearings located beyond Los Angeles County require an additional travel fee, starting at $55.00. Sample locations include; Orange County; Torrance, Foothill Ranch, Anaheim, San Diego, Chula Vista, Palm Springs, San Francisco and beyond. 


Out of Town Feng Shui Consultation Policy:

Feng Shui Manhattan, Inc (also known as Feng Shui Long Island, Inc) will travel to your home or business. Arrangements must be booked in advance. Out-of-town consultations require a deposit. Airfare and hotel accommodations are paid for by the client, in addition to an out-of-town day rate. Fees are $1,000 per day plus expenses. This does not include fees for the One Hour Feng Shui Assessment, Home Consultation Package and Business Consultation Package, Feng Shui Space Clearing Service, Reiki Sound Healing Sessions or New Development Projects.


One Hour Feng Shui Assessment Policy:

  • The Feng Shui One Hour Assessment needs to be re-confirmed within 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.

Payment Policy:

  • Option 1: Pay the $100 Deposit. The remaining balance is due at the completion of your onsite consultation. No Exceptions.

  • Option 2: Pay in Full.

    • Payment Methods Accepted: Credit Card, Check, Cash, Venmo, Paypal.

  • The $100 deposit reserves your one hour Pre-onsite Feng Shui Assessment phone call and one hour Feng Shui Onsite Consultation.

  • If we are unable to meet at your home or office due to construction or personal reasons, please inform Laura immediately. This will allow efficient planning for both parties to coordinate and meet at another public location.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you paid the DEPOSIT and cancel the onsite One Hour Feng Shui Consultation after Step 1 (pre-onsite consultation phone call) has been completed, Feng Shui Manhattan reserves the right to keep the $100 deposit because the consultation process has already begun with the one hour phone call.

  • If you PAID IN FULL and cancel after Step 1 (pre-onsite consultation phone call) has been completed, the remaining payments after that will be refunded and Feng Shui Manhattan reserves the right to keep the $100 deposit because the consultation process has already begun with the one hour phone call.


Business Feng Shui Consultation Package Policy:

  • Your Feng Shui Business Consultation needs to be re-confirmed within 24 hours prior to your scheduled session. We recognize rescheduling can be necessary.

Payment Policy:

  • Option 1: Pay the $100 Deposit. The remaining balance is due at the completion of your onsite consultation. No Exceptions.

  • Option 2: Pay in Full.

    • Payment Methods Accepted: Credit Card, Check, and Cash.

    • The $100 deposit reserves your one hour Feng Shui Business Pre-onsite Consultation and two hour onsite Home Consultation visit.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you paid the $100 DEPOSIT and cancel your 2 or 3 hour scheduled In-person Feng Shui Business Consultation after Step 1 has been completed, Feng Shui Manhattan reserves the right to keep the $100 deposit because the consultation process has already begun with the one hour phone call interview.

  • If you PAID IN FULL for your 2 or 3 hour consultation and cancel after Step 1 has been completed, Feng Shui Manhattan reserves the right to keep the $100 deposit because the consultation process has already begun with the one hour phone call interview. Remaining payments after that will be refunded.

  • If we are unable to meet at your business location due to construction or personal reasons, please inform Laura immediately. This will allow efficient planning for both parties to coordinate and meet at another public location.

  • If you request to separate your Business Consultation Package into two separate days, a deposit or full payment for the second day is required. No exceptions.


Feng Shui Home Consultation Package Policy:

  • Your Feng Shui Home Consultation needs to be re-confirmed within 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.

  • Payment Policy:

    • Option 1: Pay the $100 Deposit. The remaining balance is due at the completion of your on-site consultation. No Exceptions.

    • Option 2: Pay in Full.

      • Payment Methods Accepted: Credit Card, Check, and Cash.

  • The $100 deposit reserves your one hour Feng Shui Home Pre-onsite Consultation phone call and two hour onsite Home Consultation visit.

  • If you request to separate your Home Consultation Package into two separate days, a deposit or full payment for the second day is required. No exceptions.


Long Distance (Remote) Consultation Policy 

  • The $100 deposit reserves your Feng Shui Long Distance Consultation date and allows Laura to efficiently schedule other sessions throughout that same day and overall week.

  • If you cancel the Long Distance Feng Shui Consultation after Step 1 has been completed, Feng Shui Manhattan reserves the right to keep the $100 deposit because the consultation process has already begun with the one hour pre-phone call interview.

  • The remaining balance is due prior to the start of Step 3. No exceptions.

  • The Long Distance Notes will not be sent to you until the remaining balance has been paid. No exceptions.


Post Consultation Support System Policy

Clients who invest in a "1 Hour Feng Shui Consultation," "Home Feng Shui Consultation Package" "Business Feng Shui Consultation Package," or the "Long Distance Home or Long Distance Business Consultation" are allowed Quick Feng Shui Follow Up via text and email for lifetime. We understand the great importance of continuous guidance when needed. 

The Quick Feng Shui Follow Up policy enables quick questions from clientele regarding changes they will or have made in within their given space, double checking purchases they will, or have made with feng shui in mind (e.g. furniture, artwork), or would like to share quick updates in regard to their Feng Shui suggestions on the day of their consultation and/or feng shui notes.

If you request a more in-depth discussion, new diagrams, additional notes and/or provide a lengthy list of questions that will require significant time to review and respond (let that be via email, text messaging or with any other remote method of communication), there will be an additional fee to accommodate the time needed to properly and adequately answer your questions. For cases such as this, the Feng Shui Support Call Center ("Ask Laura Your Feng Shui Question) is needed. 


Ask Laura Your Feng Shui Question (Feng Shui Manhattan Call Center) Policy

Full payment is required before Laura Cerrano speaks with you over the phone.

This particular service is reserved at a flat rate of $50.00 for 30 minutes. Prepayment is required before proceeding with the live phone call.  If you choose not to use the full half hour (30 minutes) there are no refunds.


Gift Certificates Policy

From the date of purchase, you have one year to redeem.

Cash, Check and Credit Card is accepted for both on-site and remote.

Direct payment from the FengShuiManhatta.com site, customized PayPal invoices, Chase QuickPay, or Venmo is available as alternative internet payment methods. 


Pricing Policy

Feng Shui Long Island, Inc - Feng Shui Manhattan prices is subject to change without notice in regard to the prices for On-site/Long Distance Consultations, Space Clearings, Real Estate Development Services, The Feng Shui Support Call Center and Gift Certificates. Any price change will be communicated to you before scheduling a new Feng Shui consulting session. Your continued use of Feng Shui Long Island, Inc - Feng Shui Manhattan On-site/Long Distance Consultations, Space Clearings, Real Estate Development Services, Feng Shui Support Call Center Services and/or purchase of Feng Shui Gift Certificates after the communication of such price changes to you constitutes an acceptance of such new prices.


Feng Shui Manhattan School Payment Policy

  • A deposit of $595.00 is required to reserve your seat for the Feng Shui Manhattan School Certification Program.

  • The Remaining Balance for the Feng Shui Manhattan School Certification Program is paid through installments of $375 for eight months in 2019. Credit Card charges are processed on the first of each month listed: March 1st, April 1st, May 1st, June 1st, September 1st, October 1st, November 1st, and December 1st. A Credit Card Authorization Form is emailed to each student ready to sign up for the program and move forward with payment. This form allows the monthly installments to be processed.

Feng Shui Manhattan School Code of Conduct and Requirements

When I certify students, I stand behind that certification as this becomes an extension of my mother’s legacy (Feng Shui Master Carole Provenzale), my reputation, the schools reputation, and even more so, the reputation of the Feng Shui community. Just because you sign up for the program, does not guarantee you a Feng Shui Certification. Students need to attend all 16 classes (with the exception of 3 allowed absences), pass the midterm exam and final exam, and present at least one professional Feng Shui case study project at the end of the school year to demonstrate their knowledge, practice, and professionalism within the art and science of Feng Shui. To receive a Feng Shui Certification is to say to yourself, clients, and colleagues, that you have put in the proper time, focus, commitment, and preparation to confidently and responsibly deliver professional Feng Shui Consultations of your own. And as an added bonus you are self initiating the opportunity for personal and professional growth emotionally, spiritually, physically and psychologically.

  • This is an 8 month program in-person class that meets on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), once a month on preselected dates (16 classes all together). It’s understood life situations come up. With that noted, students are allowed up to 3 absences. If a student misses a fourth class, they’ll automatically be dropped from the course. All payments received up to the date of departure is non-refundable and the student will not receive their Feng Shui Certification Certificate.

    • The 8 month Feng Shui Manhattan School Certification Program for 2019 class dates are preselected in advance. It’s the responsibility of the students to review the class schedule and plan accordingly.

    • For students who are absent from class, they are allowed either a 1 hour phone call OR a 1 hour onsite meet-up at the Feng Shui Manhattan School location to review key questions and materials from the class missed. It’s the responsibility of the student to self-study what they missed and they have the option of connecting with classmates to catch up as well. As a class we do review material from previous teachings, yet to really gain the full benefit, it’s best for students to attend each class in their entirety.

    • Naturally, if dangerous inclement weather occurs, a rescheduling of class dates will be put into effect.

  • Arriving on-time and leaving class when it has officially ended is important. If a student chooses to arrive late or leave class early on more than three occasions, they will NOT receive their Feng Shui Certification and there are no payment refunds up to the date of the 4th occasion.

If you feel you cannot agree to the Feng Shui Manhattan School Payment Policy and Feng Shui Manhattan School Code of Conduct and Requirements, respectfully, perhaps this Feng Shui Certification Program is not for you.
