Strength for Life’s Wellness Retreats offer cancer patients and survivors a way to balance their lives emotionally, spiritually and physically after a life changing diagnosis. Through inspiring discussions, empowering classes and a supportive atmosphere Strength for Life provides the tools to embark on a new journey of healthful, whole living. Our retreats are offered to men and women regardless of the kind of cancer and are provided at NO COST to participants.

Strength for Life’s retreats are designed to offer different approaches to healing.  Our retreats provide our guests with the benefits of relaxation, rejuvenation and the development of new life skills they can utilize to achieve optimal wellness.   Typically our retreats include guest speakers and a variety of hands on classes such as tai chi, zumba, yoga, reiki, and strength training.  Although each retreat differs slightly our overall theme of educating on alternative modalities remains our focus.

Wellness retreats are held at the Hyatt Wind Watch Hotel in Hauppauge, NY.  It includes an overnight stay, all meals, classes, speakers, and other activities for our guests to enjoy through out the weekend.
