Please join us in honor of Susi Hererra’s journey through battling Breast Cancer. Susi shares, “Drums are tribal. Some African tribes drum every night before going to bed to enter a trance to get rid of the day's burden and disposing into the earth, reminding themselves that life goes on, playing them is choosing to stay alive. Drumming has given me an outlet to express my emotions in a community setting and thus became important for me to include it as part of the exhibit and as a way to open up the space.”
We'd love for you to be part of this special event in support of Susi, while also celebrating art, community and life.
